Dr. Mittman has made it possible for Dr. Faber and Mission Laser Dentistry to provide range of dental services by making sure that our patients are asleep, safe and comfortable during the procedures by providing Dental Anesthesia services at our San Juan Capistrano practice.

Dr. Avery C. Mittman is proud to provide IV sedation for patients at Mission Laser Dentistry. Dr. Mittman graduated from the University of California, Irvine and studied additional training after graduation at UCLA. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree through the University of Health Sciences at Chicago Medical School Illinois. Dr. Mittman is a Board Certified and licensed physician in the state of California for Anesthesia and Family Practice.

What to Expect with Sedation Dentistry

Patients who undergo sedation before a dental procedure are not actually asleep and are able to respond to questions from Dr. Faber DDS when necessary. Patients are monitored by Dr. Mitman to ensure that their sedation is successful and also make sure that they experience little or no discomfort. Many of Dr. Faber DDS's patients comment after their sedation dentistry session that they feel more relaxed than before they came into the office. Please do realize that the fees for sedation add considerable cost to treatment and must be paid directly to the anesthesiologist who provides this service in our office.
